Thought I’d start off my first post with a photo I shot of my friend Bert. This new blog will be home to daily updates from skate missions to random phone photos, interviews and good times. I’m thinking of this as blog 2.0 or something like that….. Like the old blog but not ? Hmm… we’ll see where this goes.
A much more notable skate photog , once compared the act of gardening to the act of skateboarding. More specifically to shooting skateboarding. I always thought his words were rad and for some reason they stuck in my brain. For me skateboarding is much like fishing. Sometimes you get skunked and other days you bring in the haul and mount that sucker on your wall. Through good days and bad, best just keep moving forward looking for that trophy.
Having this been my first time skating an actual pool, I feel pretty lucky that this one was my first. A good group of dudes and a setting California sun made this mini session nothing less than epic!
